Bedroom window hinge replacement in Waterthorpe

I attended a tenanted property in Waterthorpe, Sheffield, to complete a bedroom window hinge replacement. The customer was having problems with two bedroom windows.

Both windows had failed hinges, so the sashes were no longer pulling tightly against the frames. This allowed cold air and draughts to enter the rooms. As a result, the windows were not sealing correctly.

Front door realigned and new seal fitted

While I was at the property, I also adjusted the front door because it had dropped slightly out of alignment. I realigned the door and fitted a new door seal. This helped the door close correctly and improved the seal around the frame.

Completing these extra adjustments during the same visit helped improve both the security and comfort of the property.
