uPVC door lock replacement in Arbourthorne, Sheffield S2

We recently attended a property in Arbourthorne, Sheffield S2, where the customer was having problems with the lock on his rear uPVC door.

The customer has carers visiting four times a day, so having a reliable door lock was particularly important. Unfortunately, the existing lock cylinder had failed, making it difficult for the carers to gain access to the property.

Faulty uPVC door lock cylinder replaced.

After checking the door, we identified the faulty cylinder and replaced it with a uPVC door lock.

We removed the old cylinder, fitted a suitable new replacement and supplied five new keys.
Once fitted, we checked that the new lock operated smoothly and that the door could be opened, closed and secured correctly.

Ensuring reliable access for carers

As the customer receives regular visits from carers, we placed one of the new keys in his existing key safe, so they can continue accessing the property when needed.

We left the remaining keys securely with the customer. This was a relatively straightforward uPVC door repair, but an important one. The customer now has a reliable lock, and his carers can continue their daily visits without the difficulties caused by the faulty cylinder.

The customer was pleased with the completed work and received a receipt together with our two-year parts and labour guarantee.
